PAIA 

The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000, as amended, gives effect to the constitutional right of access to information and promotes transparency and accountability in both public and private bodies. WWISE is committed to facilitating access to information in accordance with PAIA, while ensuring that all requests are managed lawfully, securely, and in a manner that protects the rights and interests of all stakeholders.

Request for Access to Records

External stakeholders who wish to request access to records held by WWISE must follow the process set out in the PAIA Manual.

The PAIA Manual, together with the prescribed request form and applicable fee information, has been attached for ease of reference. The Information Regulator’s Guide on how to use PAIA has also been attached in English to assist requesters in understanding their rights and the access to information process.

  • All requests for access to records must be submitted to the Information Officer at m.ali@wwise.co.za and will be processed in accordance with PAIA and the procedures set out in the PAIA Manual.
