What is SANS 1752:2017?

SANS 1752:2017 Strategic Facilities Management System (SFMS) is a strategic decision of an organisation. The design and implementation of the SFMS of an organisation is influenced by:

• the environment of the organisation changes, and the risks associated with the environment.
• the different needs of the organisation.
• the objectives of the organisation.
• the processes that the organisation employs.
• the size and structure of the organisation.

The application of an SFMS within an organisation, with the identification, interactions of these processes, and their management to produce the desired outcome, referred to as the “process approach”.
