The South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO) which is committed to the prevention and reduction of workplace incidents and accidents in South Africa. SAIOSH is doing this by promoting Occupational Health and Safety Management and Practices among its members and stake holders at large.
How does WWISE benefit?
SAIOSH is committed to the upgrading of the professional skills of its members by keeping them updated and informed on the latest developments in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. SAIOSH acts as a lobby group for Occupational Health and Safety legislation and standards and for this purpose interacts and liaises with the Department of Employment and Labour and other Government Bodies on behalf of its members.
