Course Overview

This course enables delegates to understand the relevant skills and ability to render basic first aid
assistance.

This highly interactive and practical course is designed to provide delegates with a sound knowledge
of all elements that are involved with basic first aid, in order to:

• • Intervene in a first aid scenario.
  • Treat bleeding wounds.
  • Treat an injured person for shock.
  • Immobilise a fracture.
  • Intervene in minor medical emergencies.
