Misbah completed a bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting Sciences in 2017 from the University of South Africa. During her studies, she also worked full-time, dealing with various customers’ & suppliers’ accounts, as well as their tax-related matters.
Misbah also enjoyed her role as a SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) trainee accountant in external audit for three years – thereby, gaining exposure to various industries ranging from logistics to energy, mining and minerals, healthcare, medical devices, construction, manufacturing, and the public sector. Misbah is thus well-versed in International Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards, the Companies Act of South Africa, King IV Principles, and the International Standards on Auditing.
Misbah believes in lifelong learning and is currently pursuing her designation as a CGMA (Certified Global Management Accountant) and CA (SA) (Chartered Accountant, South Africa) with the respective international professional bodies – CIMA and SAICA. Misbah also completed courses on the various ISO standards.
